Affiliate disclosure
Plate Scales earns a commission when a reader subscribes to an app through some of its links.
Which programs and networks do we use?
We use affiliate networks, currently Awin and Impact, and the programs that apps run through them. Some products we cover have no program, and their links carry no commission.
Can a company pay for rank or a score?
No. Rank order and scores come from the criteria on the method page. Commission does not change them.
How are affiliate links marked?
Every affiliate link is set to rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and sits below a one-line notice. The link carries the page it was clicked on, so we can see which pages earn.
What if a product is owned by the editor?
Any product owned by the editor or Plate Scales gets a visible ownership note on every box, table row and list entry where it appears.
